FAQs

We’re so excited to celebrate with you in the South of France. Below are answers to a few questions you may have as you begin planning. We’ll continue updating this page as more details are finalized.

General

When is the wedding?

We’ll be celebrating in the South of France from Friday, May 21 through Sunday, May 23, 2027.

Our ceremony and reception will take place on Saturday, May 22 at Château Les Carrasses, with a welcome event on Friday evening and a final gathering on Sunday morning or midday. We hope you’ll be able to join us for the full weekend.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Our celebration will be held at Château Les Carrasses in the South of France. This venue is incredibly meaningful to us, and we are so excited to welcome our favorite people there for the weekend. Additional travel information and weekend schedule details will be shared on this website as plans are finalized.

We received the save the date — what should we do next?

For now, please mark your calendar and begin thinking about travel plans. Formal invitations will be sent in August with RSVP instructions and additional event details. We’ll also continue updating this website with travel, lodging, and weekend itinerary information as plans are finalized.

Is this a destination wedding?

Yes. Since our wedding will take place in the South of France, we recommend guests begin thinking about travel plans early. This website will include guidance on recommended travel routes, accommodations at Château Les Carrasses, transportation options, and the wedding weekend itinerary as details are finalized.

Travel & Accommodations

When should we arrive?

Wedding weekend events will begin on Friday evening, May 21. If your schedule allows, we recommend arriving by Friday afternoon so you have time to settle in before the welcome event. Guests traveling internationally may also wish to arrive a day earlier to adjust and enjoy the area.

Which airport should we fly into?

Most guests traveling from the U.S. will likely find it easiest to travel through Barcelona, Paris, Montpellier, or Toulouse, depending on their itinerary and flight options.

Barcelona is a strong option for guests planning to spend time in Spain before or after the wedding. From Barcelona, guests can rent a car or arrange a private car service directly to Château Les Carrasses. The drive is approximately 2.5 hours.

Paris is also a great option for guests who would like to spend time there before continuing south. From Paris, guests can take the train to Béziers or Narbonne, with the train journey typically taking about 4 hours. Both stations are approximately 30 minutes from the venue by car.

Montpellier is the closest major airport to the venue and may be a convenient option for guests who can find a connecting flight or are already traveling within Europe. From Montpellier, Château Les Carrasses is approximately 1 hour away by car.

For guests traveling from the Washington, D.C. area, Toulouse may also be a convenient option, with United expected to launch nonstop service from Dulles to Toulouse in spring 2027. From Toulouse, guests can rent a car or arrange a private transfer to Château Les Carrasses.

We will continue updating this page with recommended routes, transfer options, and additional travel guidance as the wedding weekend gets closer.

Will transportation be provided?

All wedding weekend events will take place on site at Château Les Carrasses, so transportation will not be needed between events. We will share additional travel guidance for getting to and from the venue as plans are finalized.

Do we need to rent a car?

A rental car may be helpful for guests who plan to explore the surrounding region before or after the wedding. For the wedding events themselves, everything will be located at Château Les Carrasses.

Where should we stay?

We will have a room block for our guests at Château Les Carrasses, where the wedding weekend will take place. The room block rate is €235 per night, and rooms will be available to book towards the end of this year.. Additional booking details and instructions will be shared on this website once reservations open.

RSVP & Invitations

When will formal invitations be sent?

Formal invitations will be sent in September and will include RSVP instructions and details for confirming attendance at wedding weekend events.

When will RSVPs be due?

Our RSVP deadline will be shared with the formal invitation. Because this is a destination wedding and certain logistics need to be finalized well in advance, we kindly ask guests to respond by the stated deadline.

Can I RSVP now?

Formal RSVPs will open in September, with instructions included in your formal invitation. If you already know you will not be able to make it, please feel free to let us know now. Otherwise, no action is needed just yet, we’ll share everything you need to RSVP once invitations are sent.

Can I bring a guest?

Guest details will be included on your formal invitation. Due to the intimate nature of our wedding and venue capacity, we kindly ask that only the guests named on the invitation attend.

Are children invited?

We love your little ones, but we would like the wedding weekend to be adults only. Babysitting services may be arranged with advance notice, and we are happy to share more information for guests who may need childcare during the weekend.

Wedding Weekend

Will there be events beyond the wedding day?

Yes. In addition to the ceremony and reception on Saturday, May 22, we will host a welcome event on Friday evening and a final gathering on Sunday morning. We will share the full weekend schedule on this website as details are finalized.

What should I wear?

Dress code details will be shared with the formal invitation and on this website. In general, guests can expect an elegant destination wedding atmosphere in the South of France.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The majority of the wedding weekend activities will take place outdoors, weather permitting. Backup options will be available in the event of rain, and we recommend checking this website closer to the date for more specific guidance on attire, shoes, and weather.

What will the weather be like?

Late May in the South of France is typically mild to warm, with daytime temperatures often in the upper 60s to mid-70s°F and cooler evenings in the 50s to low 60s°F. We recommend packing light layers for the evening.

No need to bring gifts with you to France. If you choose to send a gift, we kindly ask that you use our registry or have it shipped to our home so everyone can travel as lightly and easily as possible.
